Head of Photovoltaics, Project Management Jülich, PtJ/FZJ
Cristoph Hünnekes has been Head of the PV Group at the Renewable Energy Division at PtJ since 2005. He has worked at PtJ since 1994. Among other things, PtJ manages major parts of the federal programme on energy research and energy technologies on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). He has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the IEA Photovoltaic Power System (PVPS) Technology Collaboration Program for Germany since 1999, and PVPS Vice Chair since 2005. He studied Solid State Physics at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, in 1994 defending his PhD thesis on Superconducting Thin Films.
