Daniel H. J. Gauthier is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of CBR S. A., and was previously a Member of the Management Board at HeidelbergCement Ukraine. He currently serves as Chairman of Carrières Lemay S.A, S.A. Cimenteries CBR, HeidelbergCement Northern Europe AB and ENCI Holding N.V. He is President of the European Cement Research Association, and President of PolytechMons Alumni. He has been Vice Chairman at Akçansa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. since July 1, 2004, and serves as its Director. He is also Director at PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, a Board Member of LVI (Carmeuse Group), and a Member of the Cembureau Board. Mr. Gauthier graduated from the Department of Mining Engineering of Mons Polytechnic University in 1982.
