Vice-President, EAPN
Maria Jeliazkova is Vice President of EAPN and Associate Professor in Sociology, and is currently engaged as a policy expert working on a leading Policy orientation package of the EU project “ASSIST (2gether4vulnerability), addressing the topic of energy poverty. She has taken part in many research efforts and projects in this field at both the national and EU levels. She also works extensively in social impact assessment and teaches European social policy and social work at Sofia University. She has more than 50 publications in this field and is a member of the National Consultative Committee for Social Inclusion at the Council of Ministers in Bulgaria.
