SET Plan Steering Group Member, Austria
Hans-Guenther Schwarz has been the Strategic Programme Coordinator at BMVIT – Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology since May 2010. Previously, between 2008 and 2010, he worked for the Joint Research Centre, European Commission, as a Seconded National Expert, with a focus on European trans-national Research and Development programme cooperation, and on Research and Development in sustainable energy technologies. Before JRC, Mr. Schwarz worked as a Programme Officer at BMVIT for 15 years. He studied physics at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and Technische Universität Wien.
