Deputy Director, Electricity System Operator EAD, Sofia
Mr. Nikolay Iliev is Deputy Director, Finances and Budget at the Bulgarian Electricity System Operator (ESO EAD). His latest activities include Management of the Balancing Market in Bulgaria, and Contract and Securities Surveillance at ESO EAD. He is also an associate member of the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE). Previously he has worked doing research at Energoproject, Sofia, and as a specialist at the National Electric Company of Bulgaria dealing with technical and economic analyses in Energetics. Mr. Iliev holds a Master’s degree in Energy engineering from Odessa Polytechnic University.
